The Jazztronauts fuse their wide range of musical influences such as the Budos Band, Lettuce, Butcher Brown and Silk Sonic to create music that feels both timeless and refreshingly new!
The Band has collaborated with a variety of musical artists such as UK R & B artist Ady Suleiman, legendary battle rapper Cortez, and Staten Island rapper Tyrone Briggs! 2025 was a busy year for the band! The Jazztronauts opened for a wide variety of Funk & Soul artists such as Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, Jembaa Groove, Hot 8 Brass Band, and the Polyrhtyhmics! In 2024, the band opened for legendary soul artist Lee Fields and Philly Party Funk band Snacktime! Lee described the band’s set as “A beautiful adventure that just when I thought it reached its final destination, it kept going in a beautiful way!” Their latest single “Boomin’” is a groove-forward, modern Funk fusion instrumental driven by Punchy Jazz horns, tight Rhythm Guitar and a deep pocket bassline! “Boomin’” mixes the band’s wide sonic influences such as Snarky Puppy, Prince and Tower of Power!
