The Jazztronauts are Staten Island, NY’s funkiest fusion band! They are bassist Niall Sullivan, trumpeter/producer Josh (J. Glaze) Glazer, guitarist Tom Harden Jr., trombonist Shawn Rhoades, trumpeter Jesse Blum, saxophonist Kevin Edell and drummer Mike Kane.

In 2024, The Jazztronauts opened for legendary soul artist Lee Fields and Philly Party Funk band Snacktime! 2025 was a busy year for the band! They opened for a wide variety of Funk & Soul artist such as Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, Jembaa Groove, Hot 8 Brass Band, and Polyrhythmics! The band enjoys taking their fans on a journey during their fun, unpredictable performances full of extensive musical improvisations!

New single “Boomin’” is out now! The track is a groove-forward, modern Funk fusion instrumental driven by Punchy Jazz horns, tight Rhythm Guitar and a deep pocket Bassline! “Boomin’” mixes the band’s wide sonic influences such as Snarky Puppy, Prince and Tower of Power! Check it out!
